Pocket watch services
I give a free estimate (you only pay $25 for round trip shipping if you decide not to proceed) on the service and refurbishing of your American pocket watch (and most others). Complications like power reserve and Chronographs are additional. A routine thorough servicing is $350. We have all parts in stock for most all Waltham, Elgin, and Illinois size 0, size 6, and size 12 movements and can find parts for most anything.
$350 covers round trip trackable shipping with signature, a thorough mechanical servicing, a light polishing (if desired), case cleaning, regulation, and a 1 year warranty.
Once you have your estimate, the price is carved in stone, it will not change if you authorize the service.
How this service works:
Just buy the item below. I will send you a box with packing material and a prepaid shipping label attached to it. Drop your watch in the box and drop the box in the mail. I will take care of the rest. If you don't like the firm quote I send you once I receive the watch I will return the watch to you and refund everything but $25 of the purchase price. If the quote is more than $350 and you want to proceed I will prepare a bill for the balance before shipping the watch back.
